Massive industry support has again generated fantastic fund-raising for Meeting Needs, thanks to the hugely successful Micebook Awards Dinner at London´s Landmark Hotel.

More than 400 event professionals helped Micebook raise £7630 for Meeting Needs, the event industry´s own charity foundation, of which Micebook is a longstanding supporter and charity partner.

The emotive tale of ‘The Boy who Lost his Laugh’ – a true story told to Meeting Needs by beneficiary Clowns without Boarders – was narrated live on stage by Shonali Deveraux with a video generously created and provided by charity partner DRPG.

Meeting Needs vice chair Lene Corgan said: “This was another great example of the industry coming together to support our projects. We are so grateful to the Micebook team and all involved for helping us raise cash for our activities.”

Photography was provided by Baz Seal and prizes kindly donated by Destination Vancouver, The Landmark London, Corinthia Lisbon and Hoar Cross Hall Spa Hotel
